Konos Academy suffered their biggest loss since November 17, 2023 on Saturday. They were dealt a 89-56 loss at the hands of Calvary Christian. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Saturday (55), Konos Academy still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Konos Academy still got an impressive performance from Aaron Cramer, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds. Joshua Knapp was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Tyler Freeman had a dynamite game for Calvary Christian, scoring 50 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Freeman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tj Benson, who scored 20 points.
Konos Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8. As for Calvary Christian, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Creekside Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Konos Academy will host Creekside Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Calvary Christian will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
