The Baltic Bulldogs can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. Everything went their way against Chester as Baltic made off with a 60-38 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Baltic has posted since December 12, 2023.
Baltic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jack Erickson led the charge by scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Mark Ditter, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Baltic has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Chester, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baltic will square off against West Central at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Chester's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sioux Valley at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Sioux Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matchups -- so hopefully Chester likes a good challenge.
