Dinwiddie scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 74-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rise Academy Guardians. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rise Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nathaniel Seaborn out in front who posted 26 points. The dominant performance also gave Seaborn a new career-high in rebounds (four). Another player making a difference was Trevonte Atkins, who earned 16 points along with five assists and five boards.

Dinwiddie's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Rise Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Dinwiddie and Thomas Dale will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:15 p.m. on January 9th. As for Rise Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Life Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 7th. Rise Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matchups -- so hopefully Life Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
