The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Space Coast Christian Academy in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.
Elite Prep Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but King Williams led the charge by scoring 20 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Williams hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Deontae Givens-West was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Space Coast Christian Academy's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Elite Prep Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.
Space Coast Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Elite Prep Academy is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Knights at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th.
