The Rockford Rams had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on Grandville with a sharp 49-28 win on Friday. Rockford's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Rockford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ryan Ahern, who rushed for 190 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Drake Irwin, who rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
Rockford has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.8 points per game. As for Grandville, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.
Rockford has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Davison at 6:00 p.m. on November 11th. Davison is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Grandville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
