Garfield extended their winning streak  to three  on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 13-7 in the process. They never let the South East Jaguars get on the board and left with  a   6-0  victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won ten contests by more than five  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Nadia Carrillo made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out 12 over four innings pitched. With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 5.1  strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  doubles and one  RBI. That's the most  doubles  she has posted since back in February.
 In other batting news, Garfield let  Coco Priebe and  Madilyn Mu?oz run wild. Priebe  went 2-for-3 with two  doubles and one  RBI, while  Mu?oz  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  doubles and one  RBI. Those  two  doubles gave  Priebe a new career-high.  Ayla Castillo also deserves some recognition as  she  got her first  hit of the season.
 Garfield  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least 11  hits in three consecutive  games.
As for South East, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record  this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.
 On South East's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Marlyn Saucedo, who  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases.
Garfield will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Jaguars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
