It was fun while it lasted, but Valley Heights's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Tuesday. They lost 53-33 to the Nemaha Central Thunder. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since January 30th.

Having lost for the first time this season, Valley Heights fell to 3-1. As for Nemaha Central, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley Heights will take on Centralia in a holiday battle at on Friday. Centralia will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Valley Heights surely won't give up without a fight. Nemaha Central and Jefferson West will compete for holiday cheer on Friday. Nemaha Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
