Last Thursday, GVCS Broadfording had to suffer through a rough 85-41 loss at the hands of the Sentinels. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for GVCS Broadfording in their matchups with the Sentinels: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, GVCS Broadfording saw an underclassman step up: Nashon Mann scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Mercersburg Academy pushed their score all the way to 58 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 67-58 to Hun.
GVCS Broadfording's loss dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Mercersburg Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.
GVCS Broadfording lost to the Blue Storm on the road by a decisive 53-38 margin when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Can GVCS Broadfording avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
