Phillipsburg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ameer Herran led the charge by scoring 18 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Matthew Scerbo jr., who scored ten points.
Watchung Hills Regional's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Phillipsburg, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1.
Watchung Hills Regional will take on the Red Devil at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ridge has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Phillipsburg, they will head out on the road to square off against the Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bound Brook knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully the Stateliners likes a good challenge.
