King never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 70-0 victory over the Back of the Yards College Prep Bobcats. The Jaguars have beaten the Bobcats the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bobcats has come to flipping the script.

Taniya Harris had a dynamite game, picking up 36 receiving yards and two scores, while also throwing for 127 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 88.9% of her passes. She was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 55 yards.

Another reason for the win was King's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Aniya Holt was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three herself. King got some further help from Kaleeya Anderson: she picked up a sack, made four total tackles, and defended six passes.

King's win bumped their record up to 2-0.
