J.P. Rodio put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Monday. He struck out five batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.

Looking ahead, Rodio and Northern Durham will square off against Riverside-Durham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates are coming into the match hot: they've won nine straight at home.
