Strasburg strolled into their game  on Tuesday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Ellicott Thunderhawks with a sharp  18-6 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  10-0  on Tuesday.

 Chase Gilbert made a big impact no matter where he played. He  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned  (and five unearned) runs off   five  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  RJ Weaver was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.  Gavin Welch was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.
Strasburg's record is now 3-0. As for Ellicott,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5-1.
 Looking ahead, Strasburg will take on Roaring Fork in a tournament  on Friday. The Indians are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on  a  six-game losing streak. As for Ellicott, they will head out to  face off against Crowley County  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
