The Putnam Clippers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They managed a 67-61 victory over Killingly. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Noah Rudman, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Nicholas Devlin was another key contributor, scoring 22 points.
The victory got Putnam back to even at 5-5. As for Killingly, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-6.
Putnam will challenge Stonington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stonington has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 332 points over their last five contests.
