The Putnam Clippers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They managed a 67-61 victory over Killingly. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Noah Rudman, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Nicholas Devlin was another key contributor, scoring 22 points.
The victory got Putnam back to even at 5-5. As for Killingly, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-6.
Putnam will challenge Stonington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stonington has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 332 points over their last five contests. As for Killingly, they will be playing at home against Wheeler at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wheeler will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
