With a playoff win on the line, Coastal Academy rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Orange Glen Patriots, sneaking past 4-3. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 8-6 victory back in April.

The team relied heavily on Ethan De La Cruz, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Coastal Academy's win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Orange Glen, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-15.

Coastal Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Orange Glen, they have already played their next match, a 9-0 loss against High Tech SD on the 21st.
