The final score was a far cry from the score of their previous head-to-head, which saw the teams combine for zero points.
North Medford was led to victory by Easton Curtis and Houston Klug. Curtis scored 15 points along with two steals, while Klug almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Rohan Aulakh, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Willamette dropped their record down to 2-17 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. Willamette will take on the Cavemen at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Grants Pass presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Wolverines in Oregon (the Cavemen are ranked 75th, while the Wolverines are ranked 225th). As for North Medford, they will head out on the road to take on the Axe at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
