After a string of four wins, the Pecatonica Indians's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 49-25 walloping at the hands of River Ridge/Scales Mound. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Pecatonica has scored all season.
River Ridge/Scales Mound was led to victory by Gwen Miller and Addison Albrecht. Miller scored nine points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Albrecht scored 25 points along with five assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Albrecht has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Abigail Frank, who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Pecatonica's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 25-6. As for River Ridge/Scales Mound, they pushed their record up to 22-7 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
Pecatonica does not have any more games scheduled as of now. River Ridge/Scales Mound also has no future games currently scheduled.
