Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Imhotep Charter Panthers walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 31-7 victory on Saturday. Considering Imhotep Charter has won nine matches by more than 23 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Imhotep Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Syeer Coleman, who rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Coleman really tore up the turf during one magnificent 82-yard run. Mikal Davis jr and his 127 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Imhotep Charter's victory.
The victory for Imhotep Charter keeps them at an undefeated 13-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.9 points per game. As for Delaware Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.
Imhotep Charter is on the road again on Friday and play against Strath Haven at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Strath Haven is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games. Delaware Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
