The Regency Christian Academy Knights couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by City of Life Christian Academy 80-38 on Friday.
City of Life Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Nathan Thompson, who scored 36 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Manlove, who scored 16 points.
Regency Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for City of Life Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Regency Christian Academy will be playing at home against Elite Prep Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Elite Prep Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Wednesday. As for City of Life Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against North Kissimmee Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
