After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thorndale, Granger was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Bremond Tigers 14-2. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by eight runs or more this season.
Wyatt Johle made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.
