The Sheridan Spartans and the Rainier Columbians will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Sheridan had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Molalla by a score of 46-39 on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Rainier put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They snuck past Riverside with a 37-32 win. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Rainier has scored all year.
Sheridan's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Rainier, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0.
Sheridan skirted past Rainier 40-37 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Does Sheridan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rainier turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
