Jahvon Quinerly of
Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, N.J.).
Quinerly was a MaxPreps Junior All-American pick last winter after putting up 20.4 points, 5.4 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game. Hudson Catholic went 26-4 and reached New Jersey's Non-Public B title game.
The Hawks should be prominent in the 2017-18 preseason national rankings with five of their top six scorers expected to return.
Quinerly made his announcement live on ESPNU at halftime of the SC30 Game at Kezar Pavilion in San Francisco. He picked Arizona over Villanova.
"I feel like (Miller) has all the tools to teach me to get to the highest level," Quinerly said. "Arizona is big time. Hopefully we get a lot of wins."
A 6-foot-1, 175-pound floor general, Quinerly is pegged as the No. 15 overall prospect in the Class of 2018 by
247Sports. The Garden State native joins Californians
Shareef O'Neal of
Crossroads (Santa Monica) and another point guard in
Brandon Williams of
Crespi (Encino) in Arizona's 2018 recruiting class.
Miller has assembled Top 10 recruiting classes each of the past four years.

Jahvon Quinerly and Hudson Catholic could be the team to beat in New Jersey this season.
