The West Delaware Hawks will stay at home another game and welcome the Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings Friday. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, West Delaware has to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps rankings on their side for this one.
The Hawks took their game against Solon last Friday by a conclusive 65-41 score.
Meanwhile, Vinton-Shellsburg ended up a good deal behind Williamsburg when they played on Tuesday, losing 43-30.
West Delaware got away with a 47-46 win when the two teams previously met in February of last year. Will they repeat their success, or does Vinton-Shellsburg have a better game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
