The Northside Eagles pushed their score all the way to 75 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 83-75 to Warner Robins. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (64), Northside still had to take the loss.
Northside lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Keron Milton jr., who scored 23 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chastan Brown, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Northside has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Warner Robins, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northside's road trip will continue as they head out to face Tift County at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. As for Warner Robins, they will square off against Locust Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
