After losing to Mitchell the last time they met, Yankton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Yankton put the hurt on Mitchell with a sharp 42-21 win.
The victory bumped Yankton's record up to 1-2. The loss dropped Mitchell's record to 1-2.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Next week Yankton take on Roosevelt at 7:00 PM. As for Mitchell, they will face off against Washington.
