Despite their loss, Wakulla Christian School saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Korey Paynter, who scored 15 points along with four steals, was perhaps the best of all. That's the first time this season that Paynter scored 15 or more points. Hunter Bourgeois was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
Jefferson County's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-11. As for Wakulla Christian School, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
