South Elgin never let Larkin onto the board and left with  a   3-0  victory.  Matthew Lipp had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Storm.
 Meanwhile,  everything went Streamwood's way against Fenton on Thursday as Streamwood made off with  a  5-1 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Sabres.
 Streamwood used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Fenton. Three players hit the pitch for the first time this season:  AJ Sabanovic,  Luis Vega, and  Jairo Sanchez. Sanchez made the most of the opportunity,  scoring two goals. A few more games like that and  he might be seeing even more time going forward.
 South Elgin's record now sits at 4-7-1. As for Streamwood, their record now sits at 7-5-1.
