The Guajome Park Academy Frogs will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Classical Academy Caimans at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
After soaring to 69 points the game before, Guajome Park Academy were a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They were beaten by Tri-City Christian 66-17. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Guajome Park Academy has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Classical Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their ninth straight loss. They were dealt a 72-28 defeat at the hands of Clairemont. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Classical Academy in their matchups with Clairemont: they've now lost six in a row.
The losing side was boosted by Issac Davis, who scored 14 points. Davis scored a full 50% of Classical Academy's points, the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jackson Crandall was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Guajome Park Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Classical Academy, they bumped their record down to 1-9 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Guajome Park Academy lost to Classical Academy at home by a decisive 79-62 margin in their previous meeting back in January. Can Guajome Park Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
