On Friday, Sylmar took a serious blow against Dr. Maya Angelou Community, falling 49-14.
It was another big night for Branden Morales, who rushed for 234 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. Morales is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played.
Sylmar has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Dr. Maya Angelou Community, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Sylmar does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dr. Maya Angelou Community will face off against Eagle Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
