While it was all tied up 30-30 at halftime, the Silas Rams were not quite West Seattle's's equal in the second half on Thursday. Silas fell 75-62 to West Seattle. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Tuesday (56), Silas still had to take the loss.
Silas lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Albert Kopec, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Parker, who scored ten points along with five assists and three steals.
Silas' loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for West Seattle, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silas will finish 2023 at home by hosting Woodland at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Woodland is ranked 160th, while Silas is ranked 167th). As for West Seattle, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on December 29th.
