The Hobbton Wildcats will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Rosewood Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
Last Tuesday, Hobbton came up short against the Rebels and fell 58-46.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ashawd Wynn, who scored 19 points. That was a full 41.3% of Hobbton's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dai'vian Murrell, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Rosewood scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They strolled past Lakewood with points to spare, taking the game 63-48. Rosewood pushed the score to 48-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Leopards cut but never quite recovered from.
Hobbton's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Rosewood, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Hobbton couldn't quite finish off the Eagles in their previous matchup back in January and fell 43-40. Can Hobbton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
