Gabriella Fisher made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, Kylie Robert was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Madison Blanchette, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three RBI.
Davies Career & Tech hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mt. Hope struck out 14 times.
Meanwhile, Shea lost 23-11 to Central Falls on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Raiders have suffered against the Warriors since May 10, 2019.
Shea saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clara Perez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Laurel Christian was another, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.
This is the second loss in a row for Shea and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Davies Career & Tech, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Davies Career & Tech has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .439. However, it's not like Shea struggles in that department as they've averaged .476. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Davies Career & Tech might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Shea when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
