With a playoff game on the line, Crested Butte rose to the challenge  on Saturday. They blew past the Telluride Miners 4-0. It was an even better day for  Shawn Moran as  he scored three goals for  his team.
 Crested Butte pushed their record up to 13-1-2 with the  win, which was their eighth straight  at home. As for Telluride, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6-4 record  this season.
 Crested Butte will square off against Middle Park on Saturday. Crested Butte knows how to get  goals on the board -- the  squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Middle Park likes a good challenge. Telluride does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
