LITTLESTOWN, Pa. -
Littlestown (Pa.) jumped out to an early lead against Biglerville (Pa.) and never looked back on the way to a 55-0 victory on Saturday.
In the first quarter, the Thunderbolts put up 20 points. Littlestown scored on a touchdown run by
Dustin DeGroft, a
Trevor Hildebrand touchdown pass to
Garrett Trout and a
L.J. Miles touchdown run.
After taking the lead on a DeGroft touchdown run in the first quarter, LHS was up 41-0 at the half.
The Thunderbolts expanded their lead to 48 points entering the fourth quarter. Littlestown's lone score in the quarter came on a Hildebrand touchdown run.
LHS also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 34-24.
The loss was the third in a row for the Canners. The win brought Littlestown's winning streak to four games.
Littlestown (4-0) goes up against York Catholic in a York-Adams 3 game matchup next week, while Biglerville (1-3) locks horns with Delone Catholic also in a York-Adams 3 game.
