The biggest upset of the week belonged to Fredonia, who took down 103rd ranked Cleveland Hill, 15-8. Weston Ley threw for 57 yards and ran for 131 yards in the win.
The Hillbillies moved up to 91 from 127 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 6 C - North. Fredonia climbed the ranks as a result of a 15-8 win over the Eagles.
Nick Anderson put up the best numbers through the air as Kennedy defeated East Aurora. He finished with a total of seven completions for 63 yards and one touchdown. Anderson's favorite target this week was Joey Burkowski, who caught one pass for 19 yards.
Colin Spatarico made the biggest impact on defense this week as Wilson topped Akron. The 5-foot-11 senior recorded one fumble.
Tayler Thilk was the best wideout in the league this week as the Lakemen beat the Tigers. Thilk racked up six receptions for 90 yards. Justin Slango helped Wilson's passing attack out by catching two balls for 21 yards.
Slango was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 26 carries, he ran for 205 yards as Wilson topped Akron. Chris Reid also contributed to the rushing game with 44 yards on the ground.
Thanks to the talents of Tim Walch and Slango William Atlas's team has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Walch leads the league in passing with 535 yards, while Slango has rushed for 685 yards this season. Cleveland Hill's Jared Watkins leads the league in receiving yards with 214 on 13 catches.
A big matchup in Section 6 C - North this week will be when Michael Dean's team takes on Bob Ball's team. At the moment, the Tigers are in fifth, while the Hillbillies are in second.
The Lakemen led the league in scoring this week after putting up 32 points on Akron. Slango in the win.
