Silver extended the longest winning streak in 3A District 3 this week by beating Grants, 30-18. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Fighting Colts.
Silver led the league in scoring this week after putting up 30 points on the Pirates.
Hot Springs' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Natividad Villa has thrown for 158 yards and one touchdown this season, while Omar Covarrubias has three catches for 77 yards. Quinton Montoya leads the league in rushing with 96 yards.
Hot Springs fell 26-22 to Cobre in the closest game of the week.
