The Bowen Boilermakers won the last time they faced the Goode STEM Academy Knights, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Bowen claimed a resounding 79-30 win over Goode STEM Academy at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-14.
Leading Bowen to victory were Caleb Wright and Rae'Qwon Rogers. Wright scored 16 points along with five steals, while Rogers scored 17 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Wright continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Rashad Jackson, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Bowen pushed their record up to 13-8 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.4 points per game. As for Goode STEM Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
Bowen will head out on the road to face off against Hirsch at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hirsch and Bowen are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Goode STEM Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Chicago Washington at 4:30 p.m.
