They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 72-36 win over Cambridge. That 36 points margin sets a new team best for Boston Trinity Academy this season.
Boston Trinity Academy was led to victory by Kyle Cameron Martin and Ceadan McCusker. Martin scored 14 points along with six steals, while McCusker dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that McCusker pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gabe Glover, who scored 14 points along with four steals.
Boston Trinity Academy pushed their record up to 8-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points per game. As for Cambridge, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Boston Trinity Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent at 1:00 p.m. on January 13th. Non Varsity Tournament Opponent has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 30. As for Cambridge, they will head out on the road to square off against Newman at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
