Havelock is 6-1 against J.H. Rose since September of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Havelock Rams have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome the J.H. Rose Rampants at 7:00 p.m. on November 16th. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Havelock extended their postseason success on Friday against Cape Fear. They walked away with a 27-15 win over the Colts.
It was another big night for Lebron Sharpe, who rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for six yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Sharpe has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last four times he's played. Khimani Nolan made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Meanwhile, J.H. Rose was able to grind out a solid victory over North Brunswick on Friday, taking the game 14-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for J.H. Rose.
Malachi Keyes and Jameer Roach were among the main playmakers for J.H. Rose as the former picked up 73 receiving yards and a touchdown and the latter rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown.
Havelock pushed their record up to 12-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for J.H. Rose, their win bumped their record up to 6-6.
Everything came up roses for Havelock against J.H. Rose when the teams last played back in October as the team secured a 35-7 win. Will Havelock repeat their success, or does J.H. Rose have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
