Hays strolled past Valley Center with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 31-14. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hays also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Hays' victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29 points. As for Valley Center, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Hays will face off against Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (Eisenhower is ranked 37th, while Hays is ranked 25th). Valley Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
