That makes it three consecutive games in which Francis has scored at least 25% of Booker T. Washington's points. Mikerria Bonner was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
Despite the defeat, West Florida saw an underclassman step up: Amani (AB) Bartholomew scored 9 points along with 14 rebounds and 3 steals. Bartholomew scored a full 26.5% of West Florida's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakya Brewton, who scored 12 points.
Booker T. Washington's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for West Florida, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
