Leslie County lost to Jackson County on Wednesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Generals with a sharp 11-1 win. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Emily Caldwell made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kaylee Wooton, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Kaylee Caudill was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

Leslie County's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Jackson County, they now have a losing record of 13-14.

Coming up, Leslie County will welcome Buckhorn at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jackson County, they will head out to take on Harlan County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
