Solon barely beat Washington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Demons on Friday. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Spartans this season.

The victory got Solon back to even at 3-3. As for Washington, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Solon has already played their next match, a 6-4 win against Iowa City West on the 31st. As for Washington, they will challenge Lone Tree at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Lions have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
