Chugiak is 1-9 against Bartlett since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Chugiak Mustangs will head out on the road to challenge the Bartlett Golden Bears at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alaska (Chugiak is ranked 31st, while Bartlett is ranked 27th).
Last Friday, Chugiak beat Eagle River 43-36.
Meanwhile, Bartlett escaped with a win on Friday against Dimond by the margin of a single free throw, 36-35. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bartlett.
The victory got Chugiak back to even at 4-4. As for Bartlett, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.
Chugiak ended up a good deal behind Bartlett when the teams last played back in March of 2023, losing 48-34. Can Chugiak avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
