The Arbor View Aggies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Desert Pines, falling 62-27. Arbor View has struggled against Desert Pines recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Desert Pines got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Trista Mabry out in front who scored 9 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Mabry is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mya Harper, who scored 18 points.
Arbor View has fallen quite a ways from their 16-7 record last season and are now at 1-3. As for Desert Pines, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Arbor View will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Democracy Prep Agassi Campus at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. As for Desert Pines, they will head out on the road to face off against Dixie at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Dixie focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday.
