After two games on the road, Fatima is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Blair Oaks Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Fatima is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Blair Oaks in Missouri (Fatima is ranked 28th, while Blair Oaks is ranked 348th).
Fatima has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 24 points or more this season. They blew past Linn 58-34. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-9.
Vivan Bax was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 19 points. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Alli Robertson, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Blair Oaks, who are still winless after their sixth game. They received a tough blow on Tuesday as they fell 62-44 to Centralia.
Fatima's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Blair Oaks, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-6.
Everything came up roses for Fatima against Blair Oaks in their previous matchup back in November as the team secured a 71-37 victory. With Fatima ahead 40-19 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
