The Steilacoom Sentinels will face off against the Washington Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Steilacoom put up the most runs they have all season on Tuesday. They never let Clover Park get on the board and left with a 36-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Sentinels, who have now won ten matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Allison Roach made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her six plate appearances with two runs.

Steilacoom was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .596. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Washington came up short against Franklin Pierce on Tuesday, falling 24-14.
Washington got a massive performance out of Jaz Boggan, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Suresa Letoi, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Steilacoom is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
Everything went Steilacoom's way against Washington in their previous matchup back in April, as Steilacoom made off with a 17-0 victory. Will the Sentinels repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
