Mundy's Mill is 0-6 against Woodward Academy since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Mundy's Mill Tigers will be playing at home against the Woodward Academy War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Mundy's Mill is ranked 102nd, while Woodward Academy is ranked 110th).
Last Saturday, Mundy's Mill strolled past North Clayton with points to spare, taking the game 40-25.
Mundy's Mill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amera Steadmon, who scored 10 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Katelynn Owens, who scored 7 points.
Meanwhile, Woodward Academy pushed their score all the way to 60 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 81-60 walloping at the hands of Galloway.
Woodward Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kameron Herring, who scored 21 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals, and Delaney Cooper who scored 11 points along with 5 steals. The matchup was Herring's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Kami Whitner was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.
