Immaculate has been on the road for two straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Brookfield Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Connecticut (Immaculate is ranked 30th, while the Bobcats are ranked 50th).
Last Saturday, Immaculate was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 54-49 to the Cougars.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kendra Foy, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Callie Miller, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Brookfield scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They came out on top against Stratford by a score of 68-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Immaculate's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Brookfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.
Immaculate came up short against the Bobcats in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 52-46. Will Immaculate have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other basketball content.
