The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Crusaders considering their one-run performance the game before.
Lily Sheehan made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up four earned (and five unearned) runs off nine hits. Sheehan was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Emma Manzo was a standout: she went a perfect 5-for-5 with two runs and two RBI. Those five hits gave her a new career-high. Sara Slitt was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
