After losing to Wallington the last time they met, Park Ridge decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Park Ridge were the clear victor with a 31-6 margin. They were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
No one put up better numbers for Park Ridge than junior Vince Pinto, who brought his A game into the match. He picked up 142 yards on the ground and accumulated 178 passing yards. The match pushed Wallington down to 0-2 and pulled Park Ridge up to the reverse at 2-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Park Ridge take on St. Mary at 7:00 PM. Wallington will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against St. Mary in two weeks at 7:00 PM.
